The 3rd annual Sandspit Wild Harvest Festival: Coming right up!

We have now started to work on the organization of this year's Wild Harvest Festival. Sept 8-9 2017.

Let's start with the good news, as Chef Edi Szasz is coming back this year to bring us some amazing dishes for the Festival!

The concept for the dinner will remain the same, though we will make it happen at the Community Hall this year. We are also thinking of adding an evening to the event and have 2 dinner nights. Still to be confirmed. We will start taking bookings for the dinners just a few weeks before the event.

We will have a few more participants this year and also will have some return ones. We are now working on a schedule for the event and we will have a similar concept of walks, talks and food throughout the whole event.

Oh, and one more thing: We have already started to find some mushrooms on island. Yesterday we were able to test the first king Boletus of the season!
